Well as I have said many times before that if you live long enough you will get proven right! New guidelines soon to be published by the industry now will say that watching cholesterol as we have been taught is no longer necessary. In fact, the guidelines will say that the cholesterol levels in and of themselves, are not a major risk! That means that eggs, the most perfect food for humans, all of a sudden are good for you again.

Back in 1982 I wrote a paper on the health benefits of eggs and other fat & cholesterol containing foods. In 1992 I wrote a booklet, illustrating that cholesterol is not the bad guy. In fact, the vast majority of those undergoing the bypass operation for blocked arteries had normal cholesterol levels for years! In 2002 we published a review on dietary fats, illustrating the dangers of concentrated polyunsaturated vegetable oils and the benefits of monounsaturated and saturated fats.

This war on fat and cholesterol has been raging for over 30+ years and in spite of these misplaced efforts nothing has changed, followed by obesity and a host of others, which has increased over 357% in the same period!

Richard Passwater, in his wonderful book Super Nutrition For Health, published in the 1970’s, cited over 50 double blind studies proving that cholesterol is not a significant cause of doing bad. These Reports explain why nutrients are essential in maintaining a healthy liver and which combination of nutrients you should consider.

Stress can be worse than what’s causing It

We live in a stressful world – one of our own making, but nonetheless a stress filled life. It has been said that stress is the cardinal cause of most all illnesses and current research tends to bear this out. An example of this is recent research that points to the fact that excess stress may be a greater factor in health problems!

Consider these negative effects from stress:
It makes you exhausted – Stress produces anxiety, which in turn, over time, produces more terrible things. These states wreck havoc with our adrenal glands and eventually your immune system.
It can mess with your libido – When your head is preoccupied with excess stress, it’s harder to “get in the mood” for intimacy.

Stress can impair digestion – Stress interferes with the production of vital stomach acids, which in turn prevent the production of enzymes necessary for further digestion. Gas, bloating, heartburn and bowel disturbances are often the result. Excess stress causes imbalances in sex hormones. When the androgens in your body spike, acne and other skin problems are often the result. The point is that stress can affect virtually every aspect of human biochemistry, making any existing conditions much worse. This means that managing stress if present, should be an integral part of any health building support program.
