There are many nail fungus treatments available. Some of them over the counter and stronger ones available by prescription only. Many of these nail fungus medications can have side effects even though they are often applied locally or topically. In more stubborn cases oral medications may be necessary in order to eliminate the problem. This is because the fungus or yeast is probably systemic in the body at this point and when it’s cleared up locally or topically, it simply migrates back over time. Nail fungus causes can be many. Anything from immune suppression to lack of hygiene and most often to a systemic yeast and or fungus overgrowth. Nail fungus symptoms include a darkening of the nails a deformity of the nail and even in more advanced cases losing the nail itself from the nail bed.
There are several other alternative methods on how to get rid of nail fungus. These include applying apple cider vinegar to the affected area as well as taking probiotics. We have found that since most of these organisms are anaerobic in nature, treating them with oral oxygen not only can eliminate the fungus locally but can also help to eliminate fungus, molds, yeast, Candida, and some parasites systemically throughout the body. Check back next month for information about the Nail Fungus Treatment with Oxygen.
